Safety Advisor - 6 Month Contract

We now have an opportunity for a Safety Advisor to join our team on the Hobart Airport Upgrade project on a six-month contract. As a Safety Advisor, you will actively support, coach, mentor and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders across a multitude of projects. This dynamic role will have a mix exposure to site-based and office with a focus on bringing people together to ensure we achieve our Safety objectives whilst contributing to the innovation of the business.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Exposure within the Civil Road Maintenance, Construction, Heavy Industrial or Transport space will be highly regarded. You will also have:

• Certificate 4 Work Health and Safety.
• Minimum two years experience as a Health and Safety Advisor.
• Quality / Safety Lead Internal Auditor (desirable).
• ICAM Lead Incident Investigation (desirable).
• Experience conducting audits and preparation of corrective actions and reports.
• Undertaken high level incident investigations.
• Ability to positively influence change and communicate effectively with multiple types of stakeholders.
• High level of problem solving with the ability to professionally navigate complex situations.
• Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
