/ Position: Safety Investigator
/ Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid working can be agreed)
/ Working Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per week
Gama Aviation is currently recruiting an experienced Safety Investigator who will play a key role in upholding the highest safety standards across our UK engineering sites. The Safety investigator will support our engineering operations primarily from our Bournemouth site, with the requirement to travel to other UK locations to conduct safety investigations, including interviews and to examine evidence. This role offers a balance of working onsite and from home, with remote working being permitted to write up investigation reports or process investigations in the safety database (iQSMS).
As a Safety Investigator, you’ll follow the Baines Simmons FAiR 3 methodology and produce reports in ICAO Annex 13 or MEDA formats, depending on the type of investigation and the recipient(s) of the report (internal or external). This role would ideally be suited to an Aircraft Engineer, military or civil, who has been trained in aviation safety investigations and can demonstrate solid experience in conducting safety investigations in an engineering environment.
We offer the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team focused on safety excellence in the aviation industry. If you are a passionate safety professional looking to make a real impact in a challenging yet rewarding environment, we would love to hear from you!
