AAG have an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated career focused and ambitious Sales Manager seeking a role in a challenging, fast-paced and rewarding environment. Our aim as a team is to attract and develop key talent across all levels of our growing aviation business.

Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

Essential Job Function

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities with strategic customers to support delivery of annual sales/revenue targets for our Part 145 organsiation.
  • Support Head of Sales in the development and execution of a sales strategy for the AAG Component MRO business unit, ensuring delivery of targeted goals for the business unit within the required timeframes.
  • Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with airline, leasing and MRO customers and identify strategies that deliver added value to customers while also increasing AAG share of wallet with strategic customers.
  • Attend conferences and industry events as required to represent AAG, build relationships with key stakeholders and promote AAG brand, products and services across the sector.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to target customers to promote the AAG service offering. 
  • Optimise company CRM, pipeline and sales forecasts and ensure provision of timely and accurate market data to the business to facilitate effective planning and decision making. 
  • Champion and influence excellence in customer service delivery and the overall customer experience (CX) across the organisation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities identified as required from time to time.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years aviation sector experience with at least 2 years’ direct experience in sales, commercial or closely related customer-facing role. 
  • Specific experience in Component maintenance and/or management will be advantageous.
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification.
  • Proven track record in developing long-term, positive relationships with commercial airlines, aircraft Lessors and MRO’s. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines is essential.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • An energetic, dedicated approach combined with excellent organisation skills is required. 
  • Strong business and financial acumen and a proven ability to deliver on objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills, teambuilding skills and the ability to influence others without creating adversarial relationships.

  • International travel is a requirement for this position.

Typical Working Conditions

  • Primarily based in Shannon however international travel is a requirement of the role
  • PPE is provided by Atlantic Aviation Group as required 
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, may be required
  • Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements
