Scheduler Engineer Analyst
Contingent Upon Contract Award
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for a Scheduler Engineer Analyst who will be a key support to the Government customer.
- Located in San Diego, CA.
Job Description:
- Operate and maintain schedule related equipment and support systems.
- Responsible for directing the schedulers systems process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
- Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned workforce is properly trained and equipped.
- Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all actions associated with life cycle management of schedules systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 20 years of related experience.
- Must have at least 3 at sea tours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must have Naval Shipboard Operational experience equivalent to Limited Duty Officers, Warrant Officers, Engineering Duty Officers or Senior Enlisted personnel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred recent experience (within the last 5 years) operating shipboard Food and Services equipment.
- Retired E7/E8 or Above.
- Preferred experience as one of the following:
- An Inspector for the U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV);
- Inspector at the Afloat Training Group; or
- TYCOM staff focusing on Pre-INSURV preparations.
- Proficient in using SharePoint.
Security Requirements:
- Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel -less than 10%
- If a position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. (More information regarding REAL ID can be found: )
Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
