Senior Engineer-Avionics Projects - Southeast Asia

Company 

Our client, a reputable airline in the Asian Pacific region, is currently looking for a Senior Technical Services Engineer - eOperations and Avionics Projects to join them as permanent employee. The airline operates an extensive network of destinations and boasts a diverse fleet of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. 

Position

The Senior Technical Services Engineer - eOperations and Avionics Projects will be responsible for delivering eOperations and support for the airline fleet, managing avionics work that is project based and common across multiple fleets.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering the operational performance of e-enabled systems across the entire airline fleet, meeting company targets.
• Ensuring compliance and timely delivery of Avionics Projects.
• Managing the software configuration and Field Loadable Software processes.
• Ensuring compliance with aircraft cyber-security requirements for Engineering.
• Timely evaluation and management of Airworthiness Directives and vendor Service Bulletins.
• Managing OEM technical relationship management to effectively support Engineerings vision and goals.
• Providing the operation with specialist technical support for eOperations and Avionics.
• Driving continuous process and productivity improvements.
• Staying up to date with industry best practice ideas and developments. 

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years experience in an Engineering role. 
• A degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or an equivalent professional qualification 
• Extensive aviation engineering knowledge and experience, preferably in aircraft avionics and eOperation disciplines. 
• Holder of, or the capability to obtain, a Design Engineer (DE) position in a Design Organisation. 
• Strong experience in supplier management. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and influence across Engineering sections, OEMs, other operators, industry experts, and regulators. 

Terms

The position of Senior Technical Services Engineer - eOperations and Avionics Projects carries a basic salary around the equivalent of USD $5,000 to $7,400 per month plus a full set of benefits (annual leave, medical insurance, travel benefits, discretionary bonus and profit share).
