Job Position 

Summary 

Assisting the Chief Pilot-Standards in maintaining and analyzing line/sim observational data to ensure that the required proficiency and safe practices are been maintained along with proposing recommendations and root cause analysis to flight operations stakeholders basis the observations garnered.

Key 

Responsibilities 

• Assisting the Chief Pilot - Standards in formulating and enforcing within the requirements of the company and DGCA policy, the standards of flight proficiency necessary for safe and efficient operations of the aircraft. 
• Maintaining records of in-flight/sim monitoring activities to capture observation data to validate if the required proficiency and safe practices are being maintained as per the required standards.
• Follow up and tracking of non-conformance/observational data as obtained with pertinent stakeholders and maintaining up to date compliance tracker sheets  
• Highlighting any trends indicating dilution of Flight standards and unsafe practices to CP Standards. 
• Maintain close coordination and liaison with Training Qualification executives, Planners, Fleet and Training Managers in so far as their functions have a bearing on his/her activities. 
• Maintaining records and deriving analytical data utilizing the latest tools to determine effectiveness of policies, procedures and training methodologies for Flight operations and Flight Crew performance. 
• Planning and Scheduling of observation duty rosters and logistics as and when required along with intimation of such activities to flight crews
• Any other duties as may be assigned by Chief Pilot – Standards. Chief Pilot Standards or in his absence by GM-Flight Ops 

Desired 

Qualification / certifications 

• Should be at least 10+2.
• He/She should possess an extensive background in airline training functions and or Aviation Safety 
• Knowledge of DGCA Directorate and Procedures being followed by DGCA officers to process the file and airline documentation and records control systems. 
• Skills in analyzing Flight Operations and Training documents, Pilot Documents and Manuals.

Preferred relevant work experience 

He/She should preferably have worked on projects that required data mining and or function requiring interpretation of raw data to derive conclusions and findings 

Skills and knowledge 

• English language proficiency 
• Ability to communicate the responses effectively. 
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications 
• Leadership and teamwork potential 
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
