We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Technologist to support the Propulsion and Power Laboratory (PROPEL) for the Aerospace Research Centre (ARC). The selected candidate would share our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The selected individual will work closely with a multidisciplinary team composed of Technical Officers, Research Council Officers and Research Officers within the Combustion Research Facility (CRF) group, Altitude Research Facility (ARF) group, and external clients.
The position requires an individual that can perform under pressure, have critical problem-solving skills and good process optimization competency. The individual must also possess the necessary technical skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain a state-of-the-art equipment in industrial settings. The individual will be required to support multiple facilities under different groups, as a result, good awareness of task prioritization and time management is necessary. During the test phase of projects, the position will require working long days and occasionally weekends.

In addition to technical duties, the incumbent will also be expected to follow all safety, environmental and regulatory rules applicable to the test facilities.
The position may assign duties, overseeing the work and mentoring of junior technical officers.
