Job Summary
Perform a basic to advanced level skilled work to accomplish sheet metal repairs and replacements of structural parts. Fabricate replacement covering, panels, or fairings by using the removed parts as samples. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work. *Applicants with little to no experience are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver's License
- Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English regarding safety sensitive work activities
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate is preferred; Airframe Familiarization (FAM) course certificates preferred but not required.
- Individual will perform daily transactions within Flightstar’s ERP system, vending (POU), as well as research customer’s maintenance manuals.
- Lifts and carries hand tools, parts, and work materials; ascends and descends ladders and platforms; and frequently works in a variety of positions such as stooping, kneeling or squatting.
