Sheet Metal Worker - Rotary

Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of our long terms Rotary client have the permanent role of Sheet Metal Worker available.

This can be based at either their Emden or Munich base

Your tasks

• Complete repairs/modifications in accordance with manufacturer's instructions (SRM, SRI, SB, etc.)
• Install, repair, inspect and replace structural components, e.g. repair cracks, corrosion, or deformation as part of an inspection or following a report
• Responsible for the safe and timely completion of structural repairs
• Ensure all repairs comply with aviation safety guidelines
• Safe handling of various metal tools and materials
• Ensure relevant repair documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Complete out composite repairs in accordance with OEM

Profile

• Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, alternatively training in mechanical engineering or metalworking
• At least 3 years' experience in metalworking
• Experience in painting or with composite materials an advantage
• Ability to use all standard and specific tools correctly
• Good English language skills
• Ability to work in confined space
• Very good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Team player, who likes to work with international colleagues
