Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the Pilot Training Division as Simulator Maintenance and Operations Manager.

Are you in possession of following qualification and experience? If so, we think you'd love this role!

• Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Have experience in the certification processes of FSTDs and training facilities. 
• A knowledge of authorities’ requirements and EASA regulations and understand FSTD standards and regulations.
• Minimum 10 years substantial experience in the maintenance, running of a simulator training center, including procurement of devices. 
• At least 3 years’ experience in managerial position in the FSTD maintenance management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Excellent organization, communication, leadership and team building skills are required.
