Excel Technical Consulting have a new permanent position available for Structures/Sheet Metal Fitters looking for the next step in their career. Our client is looking for a experienced and highly motivated candidate to join their ever growing team who are one of the market leaders in the Military and Defence Industry.

This exciting role gives you the opportunity to work alongside some of the worlds leading engineers working on business jets to military aircraft and due to our clients expanding business operations they are looking for someone with aircraft fitter experience to support base maintenance tasks working on their fixed wing fleet of aircraft at their station in Bournemouth, UK on a permanent role.

We are looking for candidates with Aviation apprenticeship background who will be performing base maintenance and when required line maintenance on company and customer operated aircraft including servicing, inspections, modifications and defect rectification. You will be expected to gain full UK security clearance if not already gained.

The successful candidates can expect a salary of £37,070 including annual leave as well as a pension scheme. The shifts will be predominantly Monday to Friday with the possibility of working shift patterns when required to meet operational demands.
