Job Description:

    • Handle price negotiation with agents partner and service providers to ensure the most competitive rate and best service quality.
    • Handle all Airfreight Import shipment and offers to Customer , Sales, Oversea office and Agent.
    • Perform Airfreight import shipments, booking and delivering of shipments.
    • Be responsible for all Air Import and Operations - handle, monitor and supervise daily operations for Airfreight. shipments with a strong commercial mindset.
    • Monitor the completion of procedure for dispatching and delivering of shipments (smooth Shipments from A to Z).
    • Coach and monitor staff to follow SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) for all job files.
    • Lead the Airfreight Import Section and Teams by Example To train, develop and mentor high potentials in the Team.
    • Be responsible for monthly P&L results of the Air Import Section.
    • Select appropriate service provider /partner  and monitor the cost.
    • Be responsible for timely & accurate invoicing Billing and payments.
    • Develop a Air Import Strategy, trade lanes, identify target lanes which establishes the Product sustainably in the local Market.
    • Develop improvement initiatives of continuous business success.
    • Set targets with the department Head and monitor the achievement.
    • Provide highest customer service and keep close contact with agents & Customers.
    • Handle claims and complaints together with Stake holding Departments efficient and fast .
    • Issue obligatory instruction, directives and information in his/her field of responsibility and monitor compliance and performance3
    • Be aware of Leadership responsibility within the Team and to coordinate and communicate proactively and transparent  within the Air Cargo department. 
    • Take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

Qualification:

    • Experiences in shipping, Logistics or Freight Forwarding Company
    • At least 5 years' experiences and 2 years in managerial positions
    • Strong Customer Service mind
    • Sales-oriented with operational conscious
    • Self-confident with positive attitude
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Organizational skills
    • Conflict resolution skills
    • High Responsibility, flexibility and Discreetness
    • Excellence on communication skill
    • Proven Management experience in any field

Special Knowledge:

    • Basic computer knowledge / skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • CargoWise1 know-how in related functions are advantage
