Starting Salary Range $63,795 - $86,797

Job Summary: The Supervisor, Maintenance Dispatcher is responsible for supervision of all Maintenance Dispatchers, developing work schedules for 24/7 coverage and will be required to fill any Maintenance Dispatcher shift where no coverage is available. They will assist with internal and external business partners by answering calls, creating work orders, and coordinating repairs for the maintenance department. Other responsibilities include controls key distribution to contractors and staff, dispatches maintenance personnel during emergencies, helps prepare Everbridge communication messages, distributes work permits, red tag impairments, coordinates MNAA's fire system operations, facility inspections, and assists with other projects as assigned.

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Supervises personnel to include participating on interview panels for new hires, training and on-boarding new employees, setting goals, assisting with goal achievement, providing feedback, and evaluating performance, approving leave and payroll submissions, and making job assignments.
  • Creates schedules for 24/7 dispatcher coverage.
  • Writes performance reviews and oversees the dispatch function.
  • Distributes hot work permits and red tag impairments and coordinates fire system operations with contractors and maintenance teams as required.
  • Answers emergency calls and coordinates repairs when necessary.
  • Responds to phone calls, records information, and creates work orders requests.
  • Creates policies and procedures that adhere to Maintenance Dispatch section.
  • Coordinates and controls maintenance functions and service to call-in requests to assure prompt response.
  • Prepares & analyzes daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics of work orders as determined by the manager.
  • Enters Assets in the work order system, as new are acquired or taken out of service.
  • Controls distribution of building keys to contractors and staff, and reports keys not returned in a timely manner.
  • Notifies proper authorities regarding fire system impairments.
  • Notifies Contract Coordinator if injuries occur on an escalator, and coordinates authorization with Contract Coordinator to get the escalator back in service.
  • Routinely develops, tracks & updates escalators & elevators up/down times including contractor response times and notifies Contract Coordinator of findings weekly.
  • Reminds contractors of safety and security requirements.
  • Dispatches maintenance personnel during emergencies.
  • Adjusts the fire alarm system so that false alarms are not enunciated and distributes the proper job tag for on-site notification.
  • Inspects airport facilities and creates work orders to correct deficiencies.
  • Performs follow-up with maintenance personnel and requesters.
  • Establishes working relationships and rapport with customers.
  • Performs garage lighting inspections, programming of lighting.
  • Follows all safety regulations.

  • Maintains regular and on-time attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

Required: 

  • Associate's Degree in Business or a related field of study OR 4-7 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of a high school diploma. 
  • 2-4 years of dispatch, radio communication, customer service, or related experience. 
  • One (1) year of customer service experience. 
  • Valid CLASS D Driver's License
  • Secure ramp driving certification (within 90 days of hire)
