Technical Specialist

Experienced Technical Specialist role: 6 month contract

Location The Netherlands – AMS

*Our customer is looking for an experience Technical Representative to work in AMS on a 6 month contract.

*Applicants will be required to work every week – 5 days a week.

*Candidates must hold a full license with good Boeing experience (preferably B737ng) and A320 is a bonus.

*Our customer is looking for candidates to be fluent in English and preferably Dutch.

*A LTD company is necessary for payments and you must have the right to work freely in the EU.

The goal of Technical Specialist (TS) is to create a more stable operation by reducing disruptions.

The TS is part of the customer145 organization and will exist alongside MC (part-M) under the direction of the -145 responsible managers. The role focuses on supporting the line operation (AMS + line stations) so not H5.

Core tasks

• Support maintenance control in AOG situations on out-stations

o Providing technical documentation for service request authorization to commander

o Speak to pilots for technical support

o Speak to MROs for technical support

• Support and analysis of technical services for AOG situations at line stations

• Technical support of technical services during troubleshooting phase of complaints

o Preparing troubleshooting for complex complaints at the suggestion of Technical Services

• Prescribe preventive maintenance based on Chronix and Skywise

• Provides technical advice to line planning for maintenance on spare machines

• Screening damage assessment on the line for transfer engineering

• Technical specialist seeks coordination with Maintenance Control about priorities and choices.

In the ideal situation, the role will be fulfilled in the Day and Evening services. The work will take place at Schiphol Centre near Pier D.
