Technical Services Engineer (Airframe)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Services Engineer (Airframe) to join our dynamic Technical Services (Part CAMO) team.
This is a Monday to Friday 09:00 -17:30 role working in an office environment, based at our hangar at London Stansted, reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Airworthiness Compliance: Review Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to ensure timely compliance and integration into the fleet.
- Regulatory Adherence: Analyse technical data from aircraft manufacturers, regulatory authorities, and industry sources to maintain fleet compliance with legislation.
- Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to review base maintenance work scopes before submitting them to selected MROs for quotations.
- Liaison Duties: Maintain close communication with Technical Controllers and the Maintenance Manager to resolve any technical documentation or aircraft-related queries.
- Documentation Preparation: Create detailed work cards and instructions for Service Bulletins, Service Letters, STCs, and other modifications.
- Defect Analysis: Conduct research on repetitive defects in collaboration with the Reliability Engineer and recommend remedial actions when necessary.
- Fleet Transition Support: Assist the Engineering Director and Technical Services Manager during fleet transitions by addressing technical support needs related to aircraft joining and leaving the fleet.
- Delay Reporting: Support the Reliability Engineer in researching and completing Technical Delay Reports, ensuring root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Damage and Repair Tracking: Update aircraft damage charts and repair files to ensure the tech log contains the most current version.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks as requested by the Technical Services Manager or Engineering Director.
Required knowledge and qualifications:
- A degree in aircraft-related engineering or an A/B1/B2 license or an aircraft engineering apprenticeship with at least 7 years’ maintenance experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with computer-based Part CAMO management software such as OASES, AMOS, CAMP etc.
- Understanding of Part M / CAMO / 145 regulations.
- Sound understanding of the airframe discipline including structural repair aspects.
- Confident communicator, able to work unaided with a strong engineering background.
- Holds a full, current, and unrestricted driving licence.
- Right to live and work in the UK (Pre-settled, settled status share code or citizenship application will be required if shortlisted to interview).
Desirable experience:
- Currently in a Continuous Airworthiness Management environment.
- Maintenance experience on A320 Family / A330.
- Experience on CFM56, V2500, Trent 700 engines.
This role requires access to operationally sensitive information and occasional airside access. Applicants will be required to successfully undergo background checking to BPSS level (including identity checks, right to work, criminal records check and 5-year employment history).
