Technical Services Engineer - UAE

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join a prestigious client based in the UAE on a permanent basis to support the CAMO department across all aspects of engineering to ensure safe and continued operation of all aircraft within the fleet.

This position would suit someone with an existing background within CAMO or even an experienced licenced engineer looking to move into this area of work.

Some of the key responsibilities can be detailed as:

• Management of the day to day activities of the company technical library
• Review and assessment of technical literature such as manufacturers or regulatory authorities
• In house point of contact for technical matters in relation to OEM and design agencies
• Reliability reviews of components in line with CAMO procedures
• Creation of work orders
• Monitoring of various information related to Engine performance, HUMS, and CAMO based reports

The person we are looking for to take on this challenging yet rewarding opportunity will have at least 10 years background either within CAMO or as a certifying engineer and know the full scope of maintenance needs for rotary aircraft.  A good working knowledge of technical records, planning and the ability to liaise across different internal departments and external suppliers will also be key.

In return you can expect a tax free salary of between £72,000 and £84,000 as well as an industry leading benefits package that includes provision of accommodation, 42 days annual leave as well as medical cover and educational allowance for up to three children.
