Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses.  QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the Pilot Training Division as Theoretical Knowledge Instructor

Are you in possession of excellent Instructional skills coupled with the following qualification and experience? If so, we think you'd love this role!

Minimum qualification and work experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field or equivalent
• At least 5 years of teaching experience in ATPL level or equivalent military aviation related subjects
• Possess relevant flight ops knowledge gained through pilot, flight engineer, dispatch, flight navigator qualification and experience or relevant military experience.
• Have undergone an initial course of instruction on Methods of Instruction/ Train the Trainer of at least 30 hrs duration.
• Competent to deliver a minimum of three of the ATPL subjects
• Should, before appointment, prove their competency by giving a demonstration lecture based on material they have developed for the subjects they are to teach.
• Should be able to take on the responsibilities of SME of at least 02 ATPL subjects within 02 years of instructional duties in PTD QAA 
• Holder of CPL/ATPL license or a certificate of having passed the ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects will be an added advantage.
• Experience in MPL training would be an added advantage.
• Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
