U. S. Navy Field Engagement Senior Manager

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a U.S. Navy Field Engagement Senior Manager located in Pax River, MD.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Proactively engage customers to understand their capability needs and requirements.
• Maintain superb relationships with key US Navy Leaders in Patuxent River, MD.
• Collaboration across the BDS enterprise to influence integration of warfighting capabilities and solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
• Develop relationships with customers and creates opportunities for aircraft, aircrew and aerospace maintenance products, services, and training for the USN customer on behalf of The Boeing Company.
• Understand Boeing products and how they are or may be employed.
• Support BDS and BGS leaders with accurate knowledge of customer priorities, program execution issues, capability gaps and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain a team-based culture with BDS and BGS, and facilitate close coordination to ensure unified, cohesive messaging to the customer.
• Provide insight on customer requirements regarding mobility platforms.
• Actively participate in local civic, business, defense industry and professional associations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security/SCI Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 15 or more years of experience working with military or DoD customers
• 5 or more years of experience working with senior leaders at Patuxent River, MD.
• 10 or more years of experience with USN and Department of Defense (DoD)
• 5 or more years of experience interfacing directly with senior military officials and executives
• Familiarity of the US Navy Staff, Major Commands, Department of Defense Combatant Commands
• Written and verbal experience, with public speaking and frequent interactions with senior-level management
• Occasional travel (20% of the time)
• Current and active Top Secret SCI U.S Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

• Wing and Squadron Commander senior leadership roles
• Naval aviator with significant operational experience
• Significant Experience with Fleet training
• Deployment leadership experience with joint forces
• Graduate from the United States Naval Academy

Position may require travel up to 20% of the time.

Summary pay range: $188,100-$240,350
