Leveraging LTE for unlimited range and control, our drones currently answer the call of duty over 250 times each week across multiple cities. Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive UAS Demo Pilot to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. If you are highly responsive, consistent, experienced remote pilot, and a strong communicator, we want you to be a part of our growing organization. As a crucial team member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Paladin's proprietary drones are always ready for deployment and client-facing demonstrations. Upon hire, the UAV operator will be required to temporarily relocate to Houston, TX for training (~1-2 months). Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain a sufficient inventory of Paladin's proprietary equipment, ensuring they are prepared for deployment at all times.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct remote product demonstrations that effectively highlight the distinctive advantages of Paladin's technology to potential clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Acquire an in-depth understanding of our technology to confidently address real-time inquiries regarding the functionality of our products.
  • Adaptability: Embrace the versatile and dynamic nature of startup environments, where wearing multiple hats is essential for success.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a UAS Flight Operations, Flight Testing, Technician, or similar role.
  • Certification: Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 License
  • Reliability and Communication: Exceptional responsiveness, reliability, and effective communication skills.
  • Resourceful and Self-Sufficient: Ability to utilize resources to solve new or ongoing issues
  • Mission Alignment: A strong dedication to Paladin's mission and a desire to contribute to the team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at multitasking.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with DJI Enterprise-level drones (e.g., Matrice 300, Matrice 350, Matrice 30T, Matrice 3TD).
  • Experience working with DJI docking stations or similar autonomous drone systems.
  • Proven experience as a UAS pilot with client-facing demonstration responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools to aggregate and assess demo performance.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite products
  • Technical proficiency with UAS hardware and software systems.
  • Strong communication to keep teams aligned and informed.
  • Ability to maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize fleet readiness.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs as part of daily tasks.
