Lupos Global has a requirement for a UK CAA AW169 Captain to be based in Lincoln, UK. 
This is for a Permanent position. You will be working on HEMS operations.

The successful candidate will join a close-knit established HEMS team operating out of a state-of-the-art heliport located next to RAF Waddington, Lincoln which is centrally located to cover the 3,500 square mile radius area of operations.

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is one of the longest serving Air Ambulance charities in the UK established in 1994. It is clinically regarded as one of the most advanced pre-hospital medical providers in the HEMS industry.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of aircraft and flight documentation.

To follow the Operations Manual and all associated policy and procedures.

Daily flight briefings to the duty HEMS team.

The safe conduct of CAT flights for the purpose of HEMS Day/Night & under NVIS.

Maintaining strict time parameters and procedures in the interest of patients.

Follow SOPs issued in partnership with our charity partners.

Deliver a consistently high level of service to our customer, patients and public supporters.

Meeting customer's supporters, ex-patients and undertaking public liaison events whilst on duty

Delivering safe and exemplary service to our customers.

Displaying a professional and conscientious attitude at all times.

Being the face of the company and the customer whilst performing your role.

Experience and skill set ideally required: 

UK CAA ATPL(H)/IR

Class 1 Medical

Either: 1000 hours as pilot-in-command of which 500 hours are as pilot-in-command of helicopters or 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations of which 500 hours are as pilot-in-command under supervision and 100 hours pilot-in-command of helicopters

500 hours’ operating experience in helicopters gained in a similar operational environment

20 hours of VMC at night as pilot-in-command

AW169 Type Rating

HEMS operations

NVIS operations

Have the right to live and work in the UK

Be able to pass an Enhanced DBS criminal record check

Position Details:

Working hours 07.00 – 17.00 and 16.00 to 02.00

Shift pattern/rotations 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)
