UK Interim/permanent Head of Commercial

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Head of Commercial for an interim and possible permanent position in the south of the UK to assist in the improvement of commercial efficiency and accuracy for an aerospace client, with an excellent customer client portfolio that includes BAE, Raytheon, and Leonardo. The position will be starting ASAP for an initial 6-9 months, this can also turn into a permanent placement as well.

The initial goals for the interim personnel will be to decrease the response time for open and competitive RFQ’s as well as developing and implementing an estimating system that is able to autonomously produce data for RFQ responses whilst reducing reliance of other staff as well as imposing new solutions that allow for others to efficiently work under without issue.

Successful candidates for this position will have an extensive background within aerospace production and proven experience in implementing similar ideas and solutions in their previous roles. For these requirements, our client is offering up to £500 per day for 37 hours a week to work Monday to Friday with the possibility of working remote one day each week after an initial period.
