Value Stream Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production in your assigned Value Stream. Maintain and provide workload schedule updates to the Business Unit Manager. Ensure employees follow RAM Company policy. Secure daily production. Facilitate problem-solving and the creation/auditing of Standard Work. Handle all employee needs and concerns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a safe and productive work area
• Direct and coordinate the activities of employees within your team 
• Establish and monitor production schedules to provide up to date information on the flow of production
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals 
• Model proper behavior and lead by example in all RAM Policies
• Confer with management, Team Leads and Team Members to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
• Interpret policies and procedures for workers 
• Monitor KPI and interpret trending data
• Assist Business Unit Manager in closing the gap from missed goals
• Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency 
• Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services
• Recommend personnel actions such as corrective action, hiring and promotions
• Escalate production problems from Team Leads to support functions. I.E. MEs, QEs, Planners, VSM
• Second line of containment on production line
• Drop down support to fill gaps in labor and absenteeism
• Support the creation and auditing of Standard Work
• Facilitate problem-solving within Value Stream
• Other duties as assigned

 Requirements

• Experience in a supervisor role preferred
• Experience using computer programs such as Excel, ERP Systems, and Microsoft Office preferred
