Synopsis
Responsible for collecting Etihad remedies through applicable Warranty & Guarantee terms, Modifications & Maintenance Checks Cost recovery & Control of Etihad Assets Repair to ensure (i) compliance with regulatory requirements (ii) best repair vendor selection (iii) oversight on the repair activity over Technical’ s assets, (iv) Repairable assets are monitored and are effectively controlled on cost (budget), TAT and quality.
Accountabilities
- Review & analyze Aircraft Defects to manage efficient Repairs under Warranty, Maintenance Agreements or Time & Material Repair Orders.
- Review repair quotations for exchanged items/ non warranty / rejected warranty orders and over and above contractual orders (Pool Agreements).
- Manage Repair activities (repair cycle / quotations / supplier engagement / make or buy/ vender selection.
- Review inputs maintenance checks packages and identify claimable repairs and submit warranty claim against venders, where appropriate.
- Compile Material & Man-hours data of Airframe/ components /engines required for components and systems reliability issues where the venders have acknowledged liability to submit claim as necessary
- Update warranty database by recording correspondences, evaluation, rejections and compiling warranty adjudications, shop findings, quotes/ invoices of repair and credit notes and cost savings related to claims for an effective control; track and manage information and assist in upstream information as required
- Review, analyze, and exercise aspects of warranties, commitments and industry supports per agreements, delivery documents SBs/SILs/ADs/CNs, Engineering orders and warranty repair quotations by approving, raising, tracking and adjudication claims for maximum recovery
- Collect and analyze data by coordinating with Maintenance, planning, fleet management and supply chain in timely manner to deliver claims to related department internal and external along with correct supporting documents
- Review aircraft commitment letter and liaise with stakeholders internally for instance MGT and EYE and externally such as OEM and venders until closure of the commitments.
Education & Experience
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent, with university degree (B.Sc.) preferred in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering or minimum of 3 years’ experience in Aviation Warranty or Supply Chain Management or Repair Management.
- Good understanding of Technical Contracts and the framework around supplier commitments (PSAA, SSC, etc.) is preferred.
